Fred graduated from the Royal Agricultural College with a degree
in agriculture and land management and completed an MBA course in business management. After working for a number of years with a property recruitment specialist dealing with rural recruitment on a UK wide remit and running the South West office, he left to set up Beach Baker.
With a long background in rural affairs and a degree to support this, Fred now specifically deals with rural recruitment throughout the United Kingdom. He currently works for a number of clients at all levels ranging from small niche rural consultancies to large international property companies, as well as dealing directly with private clients with rural estate portfolios. Fred recruits at all levels from graduates to equity partners and directors.
Rupert Stuart-Baker - Director

Before completing his training as a recruitment consultant
in the highly competitive construction industry, Rupert attended university in Bristol. After becoming an established Consultant he chose to transfer his skills to the property industry in which he already had contacts and connections.
Prior to setting up Beach Baker, Rupert worked for a number of years for one of the best-known international
property recruiters
where he built up a successful team and was promoted to principal consultant and head of the General Practice team for the South West. During this time, he was also one of the top fee earning consultants in which he consistently finished in the top 10 for the group. Rupert’s clients at Beach Baker include property consultancies, property companies, developers, banks, finance firms, asset and pension funds, retailers and government organisations. He recruits at all levels including partner and equity level appointments.
Nick Hughes - Senior Consultant

Nick has worked in the South West as a recruitment consultant for a number of years.
He has excellent regional knowledge and established his strong property understanding from one of the leading property recruitment specialists. He has gone on to secure strong and long lasting relationships with both clients and candidates.
Nick has a wealth of experience in General Practice recruitment.
His clients include banks, international pension funds, global property firms, developers, property companies, retailers, public sector organisations and many regional private practice clients. For these clients he recruits for a range of positions from graduate to senior appointments.
Ruth Allanson - Senior Consultant

After gaining her degree in Bristol, Ruth began her recruitment career in 2006
and has gained a wealth of experience in both permanent and interim recruitment. Ruth has worked for one the leading property recruiters in the UK building up their planning desk, here she gained excellent market knowledge and formed lasting relationships with both clients and candidates.
Ruth joined the expert team at Beach Baker and recruits planning professionals ranging from graduates to equity partners in both the public and private sectors. Ruth has a diverse client base including large international property consultancies, planning consultancies, environmental and transportation consultancies, developers, house builders and local authorities.
